This is watsky, he is one of the first rappers I paid actual real honest undivided attention to. he made me listen. you can't half ass like watsky, first of all c'mon he is adorable. second of all his music is both light hearted and consuming, thought provoking deep yet casual, and he is fun, poetic and has a crazy flow. and his recent stuff just make me realize that for now he keeps getting better..

H o b o J o h n s o n This guy , godammnnn it's not fair that out of something so dark comes such beautiful poetry, I mean yeah, it only makes sense so I really hope it pans out for this guy cause he deserves to do the music thing, I can't really see him going to the 9 to 5 route, what I like about this artist and others that are "like him" is that it is very cringey for some people, maybe most but for others, like me this relates to on such a deep level that at least , I feel like this person knows my struggle , the words he is saying, the way he says them - I need this, I also hate it at the same time cause it is really really sad

M I L O from the first ever listen, (I think it was this song) I was taken aback in an unimaginable unexplained way by this poet/rapper/ sorcerer. really like I still sometimes can't believe he exists, For me, listening to his music is something that I can barely even deal with because I wanna just roll back and chill cause the beats are so amazingly floaty, but I get overexcited and hyped I really can't relax. It's kind of a problem really :\

Fiona Apple Fiona is an articulate human fairy, who plays with words. she is like a sadder more youthful Alanis Morisette with a deeper tone of voice and darker vibes. a lot of people seem to want to put her side to side with Regina Spektor but I feel like their energies are too different to draw those comparisons . I really missed out on the chance of being a fan of Fiona in a time where she was going out and performing and putting out new music, I really believe that she is a marvel and I would like to roll around in her tears in a creepy way.

Please don't let this be enough , if you don't know who she is you really should look into her music. it's a whole fucking world of magic

Twenty One Pilots A lot of people might say this one is a stretch, but I really don't believe that. when I first saw and heard this band every hair on my body stood up to pay respect and listen, I remember watching the video for Holding On To You on MTV and thinking, FUCK! what is this? how could this be? I mean it's poetry and hip hop and rap and vocal sounds indie as fuck what is all this ? this band is just doing something so new and so truthful, some people just look at it from the outside oh ok, it's some emo kids band, that's ok I guess, not completely off but they are so much more.
